Dyanavel XR

Generic Name: amphetamine

3 Comments & Reviews: Dyanavel XR

  1. My 15 year old daughter was diagnosed with ADHD at age 13 but we didn’t medicate until the end of her freshman year of high school after we saw a significant drop in grades. With DyanavelXR, she’s up to 6.5 milligrams. We liked how we could easily increase the dosage since it is liquid and it uses a syringe (with dr supervision/permission, of course) to see what amount worked best for her. We are 6 months in and she reports better engagement, less things distracting her, less negative interactions with teachers, and overall her grades have been excellent and are more reflective of her ability. Last year she nearly was ineligible for sports due to grade fluctuations and this year she was awarded the all-conference academic award. So, for now…we see significant changes in her productivity and focus. She reports noticing she’s physically more quiet; volume, body movements, etc. She had some occasional dizziness the first few weeks taking it and does complain of headaches from time-to-time but hard to determine if headaches are from meds. Overall we are cautious but optimistic that this medication is a good fit right now.

  3. my 9 year old daughter started this medication 3 days ago and so far I have seen a difference. Her teacher says that she is staying focused better during the school day. the only thing my daughter has complained about was a headache and feeling tired shortly after she takes the medicine.
